Andrea Cubelo-McKay:
Elementary Directress
Andrea
received her Elementary 1 & 2 credential from the
Institute
for Advanced Montessori Studies in Silver Spring, Md.
She also holds both a bachelors and Masters Degree in Social Work.
Andrea came to Montessori through her three children. After experiencing their
joy
and love of learning as cultivated by Montessori, she "got the bug".
Currently,
Andrea is the lead Elementary directress for our program
and also serves on the faculty for the
Center for Guided Montessori Studies, a Montessori teacher training program.
In
addition to her professional responsibilities,
Andrea enjoys being involved in competitive swim officiating,
reading, and gardening. She is also a Girl Scout leader.
