Outdoor Wilderness Workshop

April 25, 2017 – Amy Beam, an outdoor classroom expert, will hold an OUTDOOR WILDERNESS AWARENESS Workshop for parents at VMS on April 29th. This workshop will help parents understand VMS’s integrated approach to assisting the children in making a deep and lasting connection to the planet on which they live. It will help them gain greater appreciation and insight into how that happens and why it is so important. The workshop is also designed to give parents a personal experience of connection to planet earth and ultimately themselves while supplying them with some tools that will transfer to working and playing more effectively with their children.
