Fundraising at Village Montessori School

The culture of generosity here at VMS is one of our greatest strengths. We are a brand new nonprofit and are asking for your support for our Giving Campaign and events, which will directly improve our capacity to serve our community.

Below is information about the upcoming givng campaign and events. Please remember that no gift is too small. Whatever you are willing and able to give is a blessing, not only to the school and those who are currently a part of our community, but to those who will follow in our footsteps: the families and students who will be joining us and our community in the years to come.

Retroactively once our 501(c)3 status is officially designated, many of you may qualify for tax deductible donations to VMS––please consult with your financial advisor to see if this is the case.

Bluemont Fair: September 20 & 21

VMS is hosting a Silent Auction at the Bluemont Fair. We will be auctioning off 2 beautiful solid cedar picnic tables that were build by the students of this year’s Builders Camp. Bidding will be running from September 5th at 12 p.m. through the noon on September 21st. Proceeds will go to the VMS Expansion Project. Click HERE to bid!

Bluemont Fun Run: October 4

Join us for a fun morning of running at the Bluemont Fun Run - get ready to play, laugh, and enjoy the fresh air! We are still seeking volunteers so stay on the lookout. Click HERE for more information and registration!

By participating in this fundraiser your school earns money whenever you buy certain item at Harris Teeter. This fundraiser is zero cost to you, all you have to do is sign up. Click HERE to learn more.

RaiseRight Gift Cards

RaiseRight is a service which allows you to buy gift cards, with a certain percentage of the of the card cost being given back to the school. These gift cards can be used normally as any gift card would.

VMS Apparel & Merchandise

Our secondary students have been working hard since last year to get their business “Peace and Purpose” off the ground. Their business is creating school spirit-wear for students and adults. Raise Craze: February 2026

Raise Craze is an online platform enabling participants to set-up secure, custom fundraising websites from anywhere! During the fundraiser, participants request donations via email, then pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness for others. VMS keeps at least 90% of donations garnered this way. Sign-up HERE!
